College of Education holds meeting with freshers

College of Education held the second induction meeting with freshers of Departments of Special Education and Psychology for the first semester of the academic year 1436/1437, in the college auditorium, in the presence of Dean Dr. Mansour bin Nayef Al-Otaibi, Vice-Dean for Academic Affairs Dr. Rakea bin Mohammed Al-Qahtani, Head of Department Curriculum and Instruction Dr. Abdul Aziz Al-Asiri and faculties, where the meeting started with verses from the Holy Quran. Then, head of the Academic Advising Unit, Dr. Rakea Al-Qahtani, explained the importance of the academic advising and mechanisms for students' contact with their academic advisors to know their rights and duties. Afterwards, Head of Department of Curriculum and Instruction, Supervisor for Academic Development and Quality Dr. Abdul Aziz Asiri delivered a speech to give a brief explanation about vision, mission, objectives and development and quality programs.

After that, e-learning coordinator, Dr. Hassan Shawki gave a speech about the importance of e-learning "Blackboard" management, by which e-courses uploaded for browsing and downloaded by students.

At last, Dean of the College urged students to make use of all technological means to ensure their interaction with faculty members, and the need to quest for science and knowledge. In conclusion, procedures of mid-term and final exams were properly discussed by the Dean.
