It awards a bachelor degree and students study for eight level, with a total number of (126) teaching units.

Department Objectives

1. Prepare qualified females in the area of home economics so as to be good citizens in practical life
2. To prepare female students to be professional teachers or in any other female field.
3. Contribute in developing gifted students and give a bright image of female achievements.
4. Develop the sense of aesthetics in female student so that they can be creative.
5. Provide the female students with theoretical and practical knowledge and educational ethics in order to do their work properly and to meet the needs of the labor market.
6. Contribute in organizing specialized exhibitions and participate in official female societies.
7. Develop the ability for scientific research so as to pursue their postgraduate studies in home economics.
