About the College Vice Deanship for Academic Affairs - College of Education
:Duties and Responsibilities Related to the Position
- Supervising the implementation of the regulations and executive rules for the undergraduate studies and examinations regulations.
- Supervising the units affiliated with Academic Affairs.
- Supervising the preparation of study schedules for students in academic departments and coordinating with other colleges, in cooperation with the Deanship of Admissions and Registration and the Study Schedules Committee.
- Supervising the distribution of students to the various college departments, in coordination with the departments.
- Supervising the progress of final exams and the formation of their committees, in coordination with the academic departments and the Deanship of Admissions and Registration.
- Supervising the implementation of admission and transfer regulations to and from the college and between academic departments.
- Supervising the work of the Student Affairs Committee and the Student Extracurricular Activities Committees.
- Chairing the Agency's committees and submitting their reports to the relevant authorities.
- Supervising the course equivalency process.
- Supervising deferral and withdrawal requests, as well as drop and add processes for undergraduate students, in accordance with the relevant regulations and decisions.
- Supervising the preparation of deprivation lists and graduate lists.
- Supervising the college's Orientation Week activities.
- Guiding and advising students and resolving issues related to academic achievement.
- Submitting periodic reports to the Dean of the College on the progress of work in the units affiliated with him, in accordance with the assigned tasks and the difficulties they face.
- Coordinating with the college's units in relevant fields.
- Supervising the financial affairs, treasuries allocated to the Agency, and its programs in accordance with the regulations and rules.
- Following up on updating the College's website for his Agency and its affiliated administrative units.
- Carrying out any tasks assigned by the Dean of the College.
